Refund & Cancellation Policy
This policy explains how purchases on The Agent Marketplace (theagentmarketplace.ai) work and how to request a refund.
1. What you're buying
Agents on the marketplace are sold as a one-time purchase. Buying a paid agent grants you a personal, non-transferable license to use it within the Service — typically the ability to run the agent live and to unlock its underlying recipe. There are no recurring charges or subscriptions for agent purchases.
2. Digital goods
Agent purchases are digital goods that are delivered immediately upon successful payment — access is granted to your account right away. Because the content is delivered and can be consumed instantly, all sales are considered final once the agent has been substantially used (for example, after the recipe has been unlocked or the agent has been run), except where a refund is required by law or granted under this policy.
3. Requesting a refund
Refunds are processed through Stripe back to your original payment method and typically take 5–10 business days to appear, depending on your bank or card issuer.
4. When we may decline a refund
- The agent has already been substantially used (recipe unlocked and/or multiple live runs) and worked as described;
- The request is made after the 14-day window, absent a legal requirement;
- The request relates to misuse, a violation of our Terms of Service, or fraudulent activity.
5. Cancellation
One-time agent purchases cannot be "cancelled" after delivery, but you may stop using the Service and request deletion of your account at any time (see our Privacy Policy). If the Service ever introduces recurring plans, cancellation terms for those will be presented at checkout.
6. Creators
Refunds issued to a buyer may be deducted from the corresponding creator remittance under our platform-collect model described in the Terms of Service.
